A respected imprint within the UK DnB scene, 1985 is one of the most acclaimed platforms for dynamic music with roots based in 170/85 BPM and beyond.

After their sell-out show in London’s Village Underground back in April, the label takes over The Steel Yard with a variety of Special Guests and well-known faces to soundtrack vast space ’til late on 27th September.

1985 founder Alix Perez needs little introduction. Heading up the bill to bring the very best of his sonic aesthetic to The Steel Yard, Perez is considered one of the most acclaimed producers and selectors in DnB having honed his sound since he was 14.

As two masterminds of DnB who have released on Metalheadz, Exit Records, Critical Music and many more over the last decade, Spectrasoul joins the 1985 crew for a versatile set covering a wide range of styles - something which they're now renowned.

A fitting addition to any 1985 event, Monty joins the bill with his signature selects of fast-paced, super-skilled drum & bass and cutting edge halftime.

With a solid repertoire covering releases on Exit Records and Metal headz, Fracture is one of the most consistent and unpredictable producers in the game. Merging established talent with upcoming names, GLXY an rapidly emerging duo who gaining recognition for their hard-hitting belters.

With a sound that bounces from ublow, skipping-fast and to cinematographic, Submarine is one of the most exciting names on the scene and is set to make his mark in The Steel Yard.

Taking up the whole venue, the rest of the crew Bredren, Mindstate, Liam Bailey, Dogger, Tim Parker, SP:MC and LX:ONE complete the alreday stacked bill for a particularly special showcase of what 1985 is all about.
