[Commodo](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/commodo) [Compa](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/compa) Ishan Sound Kahn [Kaiju](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/kaiju) [Mala](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/mala) Samba Hosted By: [Jamakabi](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/jamakabi) [Rider Shafique](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/ridershafique) Sun of Selah Deep Medi Musik takes over The Steel Yard on Friday, 2nd August for a showcase with the label’s creators and innovators from the last number of years. Founder of the imprint Mala heads up the bill, a man who has played an essential part in the trajectory of UK dubstep, not to mention his role as founder of DMZ who is behind some of modern bass music’s most influential records. Heavily influenced by Bristol’s renowned music scene, Kahn joins the bill with his celebrated sound which combines reggae, early 2000's grime, digital dancehall, UK steppers and music from across the 140bpm spectrum. Blurring the lines between dubstep and atypical beats, Commodo is one of the most promising producers this year and brings his sound to the forefront of The Steel Yard for the first time. Receiving support from the likes of Toddla T and Chase and Status, Compa is part of the Deep Medi Musik family after releasing his ‘Truth in Sound’ EP, something which illustrates only a hint of what the producer is capable of. As well as releases on Osiris Music, Lioncharge, and Ruffcut, Kaiju has made a monumental impact on the scene in the short time, and since their signing Deep Medi Musik, the duo is rapidly growing beyond London. Samba and Ishan Sound complete the bill, two names which you won’t forget this year after multiple releases on Tectonic and Young Echo to name a few, before their Deep Medi Musik signing. Rider Shafique, Jamakabi and Sun of Selah are set for MC duties. 18+ ID Required | R.O.A.R.

[Mighty Mouse](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/mightymouse) (Glitterbox / Kitsuné) [Birdee](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/birdee) (Southern Fried Records / ISM Records) [Jive Talk](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/jivetalk-uk) [FRENCH TOAST](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/frenchtoast) (Partyfine) [Holmes Price](https://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/holmesprice) We're taking taking over Dalston Roof Park on Sunday 4th August for our first open-air party of the summer. Expect a day of tasteful cuts and double-clap disco sounds in the sun ☀️ Having been building a solid reputation for over a decade, Mighty Mouse destroyed global dance floors with his 2018 Glitterbox bomb ’The Spirit’, its soaring looped vocals and rolling bassline hand-delivering euphoria to the clubbing masses. Having joined the Glitterbox crew at Hï Ibiza this summer, he’ll be ascending the Dalston Roof Park stairs as our headliner. With his diverse discogs of originals, remixes and edits (c'mon, we’ve all played that ABBA one), it’s gonna be the perfect soundtrack to a sunny Sunday. Joining us in London via LA, Italian disco DJ and producer Birdee has been relentlessly consistent in his releases and remixes, donning labels like Nurvous, Southern Fried and Defected, his debut artist album dropping on the respected UK imprint ISM Records last year. Earlier in 2019, his collab with CTC resident French Toast ‘Your Body' made its way to Yuksek’s Partyfine, with support from disco and house’s finest crews while his remix of Aeroplane’s ‘Love On Hold’ was picked up and comp’d by UK house institution Defected. On support duties, we have DIY disco handymen Jive Talk, alongside residents French Toast and Holmes Price. See you there! CTC x
