Jamie xx, Park Hye Jin & Lutto Lento will perform a very rare and intimate performance at The Cause as a fundraiser for C.A.L.M. and Mind in Haringey on October 19th. The event will be part of the last phase of The Cause as we know it. Beyond Jamie, the DIY clubbing institution has confirmed Steffi & Virginia, Pangaea, Roger Sanchez, Ben Sims b2b Sandrien, tINI, S.A.M., B.Traits b2b Alienata b2b Sync 24, Kim Ann Foxman, DJ Masda, Afriqua, PBR Streetgang and more for its final weeks.
Lynette Charles, CEO of Mind in Haringey, says "Around one in four of us face a mental health problem every year. The support from the Cause has truly made a difference to how we can remain sustainable and continue to support Haringey people and promote mental health and well-being in our local community."
Halloween is on the way, The Cause presents XXX Block Party Halloween: Sin City. The music will be spread across eight areas in an extravagant Halloween special. So far, the only headliners announced are B.Traits, Alienata and Sync 24 playing a very special 3 way b2b2b, but the club is keeping another nine special guests under wraps who will not be announced prior to the show. Given that Gerd Janson, Daniel Avery, Saoirse, Jane Fitz, Voigtmann, DJ Deeon, Subb-an, Theo Kottis, Terry Francis, Perlon’s Spacetravel and many more have played parties at the club completely unannounced, you can expect a very, very big line-up. On Saturday 23rd November the final extended hours Syzygy party takes place, focusing on the underground sounds of Romania, Berlin & beyond, spread across a heated tent, three indoor rooms and an after party for the energy crew. tINI, S.A.M., Afriqua, Bryz, Dragutesku, Cally and more are coined to perform. December 14th is the Tribes Closing Party at both The Cause and it’s neighbours Grow Tottenham, spread over 7 rooms. US legend Roger Sanchez will be digging deep to play a 250 capacity room. Expect a very rare, deeper, old school set. Steffi & Virginia, Pangaea, Kim Ann Foxman, DJ Masda, Ceephax Acid Crew (live) and many more join him. Ticket information HERE.
New Years Eve will be the closing party for what is now of London’s legacy venues, kicking off early at 2pm. No details are announced yet but the show is already on track to sell out far, far in advance. Ticket information HERE.
In 18 months The Cause has raised £50,000 for charity and changed the face of community focused clubbing and have been graced by the likes of Derrick Carter, Derrick May, Appolonia, Ellen Alien, Petre Inspirescu, Nicolas Lutz, Call Super, Skee Mask, Paranoid London, Joy Orbison and more. The club is currently looking to rehome in a new location.
